MOSCOW, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- Introduction of QR codes in Moscow for COVID-free zones does not require additional expenses, Alexei Nemeryuk, head of the city’s department of trade and services, told reporters late on Tuesday.
A visitor shows the code on a gadget or on paper at the entrance of a restaurant where it is scanned and checked for passport data. “It does not require extra equipment,” Nemeryuk said.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier that from June 28, only the people with protection against the coronavirus, which can be vaccination, a negative test valid for three days, or those who contracted COVID-19 during the past six months can visit the city’s food and drink venues.
